This was the first time me and my boys have made a road trip without Tina. It was a great chance for us guys to kick back and have some adventures of our own. Three days hiking in the Tetons will certainly provide just that. We trekked into some secluded lakes tucked deep in the timber and tucked neatly under the protective watch of the massive peaks. We put many miles of rough trail under our boots but the sights where worth every sore heel or stiff leg. What a inspiring place.

Glacier
I find it hard to pick a place that is more spectacular than Glacier National Park. Once you venture off the road and take in some of the more remote spots it becomes truely humbling. The massive rock walls and thick timber, thin snaking trails choked with lush vegitation and beautiful alpine lakes leave you speechless.
Caching
Bannack
Wagon shot at Bannack, MT. We love this ghost town for some reason and make a few trips there each summer. With all the lore of road agents and ruthlessness of Henry Plummer this place stirs wild imagery of a lost time in Montana's history. In addition, tales of hauntings in a couple of the dwellings such as the Hotel Mead keep ones interest. There are photo ops abound here as well with the character of its buildings and the scenic surroundings.
Creation
I have created this blog as a place to post pictures, log adventures and keep simple notes of the out door activities I enjoy. With any luck I will tinker around enough with this page to discover creative ways to display items and keep things fresh.
