Caving 2009

Our first adventure of the year....return to Lick Creek cave. We had done this cave in mid May of 2008 and did the same this year. We had a great time and feel it was a great jump of to our year of adventures. Lick Creek cave sets very unnoticeably in the Little Belt mountains near Great Falls, MT. It is not a very long or deep cave but it dose boast the largest catherdral room of any Montana cave. While it could be done carefully with no equipment, we did opt to hook up and belay in a few spots due to the slippery conditions. The cave temp. hangs around 40 degrees and is quite damp and dripping.
